Genelia to act in Bollywood movie ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’Glamorous Telugu actress Genelia has reportedly bagged the role of leading lady opposite Aamir Khan's nephew Imraan Khan in his debut movie 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na'. The film will be directed by Abbas Tyrewala and produced by Jhamu Sugandh. Famous music director AR Rahman has been roped in to provide the music.

Pretty Genelia D'Souza was born on August 5, 1987, in England. She is also known to people close to her as Harini. Her parents originally hail from Goa and later moved to England. Genelia made her move from England to India in pursuit of her childhood dream of becoming an actress. She got her first break in the movie 'Boys' directed by Shankar. The film was a box-office hit and soon Genelia started getting more roles. Genelia has so far acted in over a dozen Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies.



Genelia studied at Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra, a suburb in Mumbai. After school, she joined the St. Andrews College, Bandra to pursue a Bachelor's Degree. Mumbai-based Genelia starred in the big budgeted Boys by top director Shankar. She starred opposite fellow débutante Siddharth.The super success of her Telugu movie 'Bommarillu’, has made Genelia red-hot property in the Telugu film industry. This will be Genelia's third Bollywood movie. She earlier acted in Tujhe Meri Kasam and Masti.
