Kimberly Alexis Bledel (born September 16, 1981) is an American actress and former fashion model. She is known for her role in the television series Gilmore Girls, as well as the films Tuck Everlasting, Sin City, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She goes by her first name, "Kimberly", with family and friends, but is known professionally as Alexis Bledel.

Minnisha was born in a New Delhi-based Punjabi speaking Sikh family. She had not really decided to act in films, but she loved modeling and was fortunate enough to be selected to model for Cadbury. Clearly her intent was to complete her education, concentrate on an academic career and do some modeling on the side. She was successful in completing her education from University of Delhi and majored in English with Honors in 2004. She loves catching up with her sleep, going on long drives, and hanging out with her close friends.
